Basketball, Volleyball, Track, STUCCO, FFA, FCCLA, and NEST

2. What is your favorite subject in school?
Government/Economics

3. Who was your favorite all time teacher at South Haven?
This is definitely a hard choice because there have been many different teachers who have impacted my life while being here in South Haven, but if I really had to choose it would have to be Mr. Reid, just because he keeps it real with you, he doesn’t sugarcoat life, but something he does do is support you no matter what you decide to do with your life.

4. What is your favorite memory from your time at South Haven?
My favorite memory while I've been at South Haven has to be when our class took a field trip in 8th grade to the State Capital and we got to eat at Red Robins. On the way back people were throwing french fries out of the bus window and we all got in trouble for it even though most of us just watched them do it.

5. What are your plans after graduation?
Attend Cowley College for two years, and then transfer to a four year college to further my degree in nursing.

6. What advice would you give to younger classmates at South Haven?
You may hate being at school everyday, doing the same stuff over and over again, but being a senior comes fast, and goes fast. Get involved with as many activities as you want and make sure to soak up every little thing, the good and the bad. Make memories that will last a lifetime, I can promise you that it will be worth it.

7. What is something you would like to accomplish in your lifetime?
Something that I want to be able to accomplish in life is getting out of South Haven, maybe even Kansas. Don’t get me wrong, I love it here. However I want to be able to get out and experience new things and be able to have an impact on new people.

8. What is your favorite quote?
“Hate no one, no matter how much they’ve wronged you. Live humbly, no matter how wealthy you become. Think positively, no matter how hard life is. Give much, even if you’ve been given little. Forgive all, especially yourself.” - Unknown

1. What extracurricular activities have you been involved in?

I have been the treasurer of my class, president of NHS, a member of the basketball, volleyball, softball, math relays, and scholars bowl teams. I have also been involved in FFA, yearbook, and STUCCO.

2. What is your favorite subject in school?

My favorite subject in school is American Sign Language.

3. Who was your favorite all time teacher at South Haven?

My favorite all time teacher at South Haven has to be either Mr. Winder or Mr. Reid. Winder was always the coolest teacher here, but Reid is always fair. He listens to all of our complaints, but still holds us accountable. Reid does his best to relate to us, and will always be there to listen to any of our problems.

4. What is your favorite memory from your time at South Haven?

My favorite memories from South Haven are the sleepovers we would have in middle school.

5. What are your plans after graduation?

My plans are to attend Cowley for two years and then transfer to OSU to complete my education. I will major in accounting, minor in international business, with a focus in ASL. After 2 years in the workforce I will work on my CPA to ensure job stability.

6. What advice would you give to younger classmates at South Haven?

I would tell younger classmates to try to get involved. South Haven is a great place to do this because we have such a small student population. Here you have the opportunity to be a part of many organizations and extracurriculars. This offers you different experiences so you can see what you like and dislike.

7. What is something you would like to accomplish in your lifetime?

I would like to travel the world and experience different cultures. Travel has always been a big part of my family and is now something I wish to continue.

“I’m not good at the advice. Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment?” -Matthew Perry
