School Board Positions are Up for Election - Will You Serve?
Posted 5/14/19

USD 509 South Haven School has five school Board of Education positions that will be open and on the ballot in 2019. All positions on the school board are at-large positions. One position is a 2-year commitment. The other four seats are 4-year commitments. The filing deadline for these positions is noon on Monday, June 3, 2019.

There are two ways to file as a candidate. The first way would be to pay a $20 filing fee to the county election officer in Sumner County. You may also become a candidate by filing a petition with the county election officer. The petition must contain the signatures of 50 registered voters of the school. All those who live in the USD 509 school district and are of voting age are eligible to apply. Will you consider serving your school district as a board member?
